With another season of March Madness upon us, here are five players the Chicago Bulls should keep a watchful eye on during the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

The Chicago Bulls will miss the playoffs for the second time in three seasons under the current coaching regime. That’s the bad news.

The good news is their recent absence from the postseason is due to the front office finally choosing a lane in going forward with a full-scale rebuild. As expected, the Bulls have had their fair share of ups and downs this season.

While there have been some memorable wins, there have been some horrendous losses as well. With 15 games left before the team starts its early summer vacation, the primary objective is to see which players will be part be part of the rebuild in the years to come.

The second goal is adding talent to the roster by way of the upcoming 2018 NBA Draft. Barring divine intervention, the Bulls’ first pick will more than likely fall somewhere in the 7-9 range.

Even though it is not what the fans were hoping for, the No. 7 pick in last year’s draft — Lauri Markkanen — has proven that teams can still find talent outside of the top five selections.

With that in mind, here’s a look at five players the Bulls should have their eye on during the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
