By Ty Delbridge
March 6. New York Knicks
Lillard had 37 points, two rebounds, two steals and one assist in 31 minutes.
Against the Knicks, Lillard picked up right where he left off against the Lakers in the fourth.
He had 16 points while shooting 5-of-9 from the field and 4-of-6 from the 3-point line, plus one rebound, in the first quarter. He added another eight points and a steal in the second.
His 13 points on 3-of-3 shooting from the 3-point line, plus one assist, one rebound and one steal in the third helped put the game away for Portland.
The Blazers were blowing out New York, and Lillard only played two minutes in the fourth,
What was impressive about Lillard’s performance against the Knicks is it was the second night of back-to-back. He had to use all his skills against the Lakers.and then against New York, but he didn’t even look tired.
