4. Los Angeles Clippers

Sometimes, the best option is to do nothing at all. After all, change is difficult.

The Clippers are the only franchise DeAndre Jordan’s ever known. Currently in his 10th season, Jordan is the longest-tenured Clipper in franchise history, and according to DJ himself, it’s a tenure he wants to extend.

In the travel-heavy, rarely still environment that is the NBA, players and coaches like to enjoy stability whenever they can. Living in the same house, in the same community, and being around the same people is a luxury that most athletes don’t ever obtain.

No doubt living in Los Angeles has afforded Jordan with luxuries that other cities don’t offer as well, and it’s those luxuries combined with the added familiarity within the Clippers organization that might make it difficult for Jordan to sign elsewhere when the time comes.

Combine that with the extra money and added year on his contract that only the Clippers can offer, and we might come to realize that Jordan isn’t the biggest fan of change.
