Los Angeles Clippers: Pros and cons of re-signing Avery Bradley
Pro: Elite perimeter defender
Before the start of the 2016-2017 season, NBA general managers voted Bradley as the second-best perimeter defender in the NBA, behind only the two-time Defensive Player of the Year, Kawhi Leonard.
That alone should speak volumes to the type of defender Bradley has developed into during his seven-year career.

At 6’2″ and 180 pounds, Bradley isn’t one to use physicality to stifle his matchups. With quick feet and a wingspan that stretches seven feet, the 2016 All-Defense First Team member is able to ballhawk his opponents for the full 48 minutes, making their jobs incredibly difficult.
Succeeding in the Western Conference means facing off against a gauntlet of elite point guards.
Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul and James Harden all present their own unique problems, yet all have to be limited if one wants a chance to beat their respective teams.
Bradley might not be able to completely shut any of them down, but he can certainly do a better job than most at making things difficult.
