Rebounding

Aminu’s 7.4 rebounds per game this season rank inside the NBA’s top 40 and ranks in the top 15 for all forwards. What is even more impressive about his rebounding numbers, is usually he is playing next to strong rebounders at center like Ed Davis (7.4 per game) or Jusuf Nurkic (8.3 per game).

On offense, he provides plenty of second chance opportunities, either for his teammates or put-back opportunities for himself.

He uses his athleticism and long arms to grab rebounds down low or soar in from the perimeter. On the defensive side, Aminu can get a rebound and take it coast-to-coast to create offense for the Blazers.

According to NBA.com, Aminu has a 22 percent defensive rebound rate and that ranks within the top 20 for all forwards.

No matter who is on Aminu, he is a hard guy to defend. His quickness is hard for bigger guys to stay in front of him and he can beat them to the rebound. His height and long arms make it difficult for smaller forwards to contain him from getting the board as well.
