Denver Nuggets

The first bit of good news for the San Antonio Spurs is the Denver Nuggets are not a shoo-in for the playoffs yet.

Of the 19 games left to be played by the Nuggets, 11 of these are on the road. This includes a seven-game road trip in 14 days. That trip starts in Memphis before playing five East coast teams. The last game of the trip is against the Thunder in Oklahoma City.

The Nuggets also have danger games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and two against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, this team is capable of pulling off some incredible wins. If they want to be considered a top team, they are going to have to win more than they lose.

However, the Nuggets beat the Cavaliers in Cleveland and have split the season series with the Lakers.

If the Nuggets can win 12 of their last 19 games, they will finish the regular season with a 47-35 record. This will put them one above the Spurs and give them the seventh seed.

This will leave the San Antonio Spurs exposed in the eighth seed, battling to stay ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers and the Utah Jazz.
