For the Memphis Grizzlies, they have one of the more interesting decisions to make on draft night. While deep in the lottery, they still have Mike Conley Jr. and Marc Gasol. Do they want to win still, do they want to blow it up or do they want to find a happy medium? What’s best for the franchise is to take the best player available. That’s DeAndre Ayton. For the time being, he might be able to play with Gasol. If not, he’s a potential franchise player and Gasol would hopefully be welcoming as a mentor. Memphis has a franchise center, but it doesn’t have a future franchise player.. C. Arizona. DeAndre Ayton. 2. player. 211
