West Virginia. Jevon Carter. 27. player. 18. The Boston Celtics have an exciting future, but that future is only getting more and more expensive. Marcus Smart may have to be let go. Terry Rozier could follow a year later. For Boston, that means they would be losing shot-making and defense that can hide Kyrie Irving. With a late first-rounder, Jevon Carter of West Virginia is an interesting option. Carter may be 22, but that means he’s more ready to contribute. He can’t run your team by himself, but playing off of an Irving or Gordon Hayward would make things smoother. Strong defense and shooting are the appeal here. Carter has shot nearly 39 percent from 3 over the past two seasons.. PG
