De'Anthony Melton. 15. player. 66. After taking Mohamed Bamba with the third pick, the Phoenix Suns will look for some wing and backcourt help. Bamba’s shot-blocking profile provides him a fairly high floor, so they can take some risks with back-to-back picks in the mid-teens. USC did not allow De’Anthony Melton to build off a promising freshman year, but he showed enough as a freshman to merit a first round pick. A true Swiss army knife at combo guard, if his jump shot has gotten better, he’s one of the best values in the draft. His defensive and passing instincts are off the chart and could fit well with Devin Booker.. PG/SG. USC
