As we get ready to gear up for what should be an incredible NCAA Tournament, here’s an updated mock draft for an enticing 2018 NBA Draft class.

March Madness is almost here, which is always an amazing time of year. It also means the college basketball season will soon be over. Like years past, several top prospects might not go dancing. Trae Young and Oklahoma’s chances are dwindling amidst a recent slump. Michael Porter Jr. still hasn’t played for Missouri and they might not make it either.

On the flip side, a lot of NBA talent will  have a national stage for the next month. It’s an important reminder to not get carried away with players’ performances in March. Our opinions should be more or less made by now based on what we’ve seen.

There’s plenty of information on past seasons and how players have grown. If a player is backing up a risk to their game or a pro to their game in March, then that’s a good indicator to take note of. The NCAA Tournament is almost here, with conference championships playing out first, and then we’ll be in NBA Draft purgatory, 2-3 months away from the draft.

So with that in mind, here’s an updated mock draft to where things stand heading into this glorified month of hoops. The 2018 tank off is really tight at the top and will change a lot between now and lottery night. This article is based off standings going into action on March 2 and will focus on team fit, rather than focusing on how players have fared this season. You can check out my latest big board here.
