Rationale:

  • Despite being limited to just 37 appearances as the result of a left knee injury, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert has still managed to climb into the top-10 in total rejections.  Gobert has blocked a total of 87 shots and his average of 2.4 per game would tie him with New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis if he played enough to qualify. Each block registers three points in FanDuel NBA tournament play, and few players have managed to swat away shots in bulk like Gobert, as he has registered 16 game with at least three blocks this year.
  • Fantasy players in search of a bargain center option in FanDuel NBA tournaments should consider Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic. In his fourth NBA season, Nurkic is posting averages of 14.1 points on 48.3 percent shooting from the field and 8.1 rebounds a game. In a game against the Los Angeles Lakers earlier in the year, Nurkic exploded 28 points, one below his season-high this year, as he connected on 12-of-20 field goal attempts to go along with five rebounds, five assists and three steals.
