FanDuel NBA Daily: Fantasy basketball lineup for March 4
An explosive offensive game helped Victor Oladipo earn his first career All-Star appearance, but his dominant perimeter defense transformed him into an elite FanDuel NBA roster option.
Victor Oladipo is posting career-highs in all five statistical categories, elevating his valuation in FanDuel NBA leagues into elite status.
For the sixth game in a row, adding Oladipo to any FanDuel NBA league roster will cost five figures, a salary cost only three other players — Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid — have for Sunday’s slate of games.
While the averages of Oladipo are extremely impressive, with 24 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 0.8 blocks per game, his ability to pressure opposing ball-handlers and clog passing lanes has made him truly exceptional.
Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks, Oladipo totaled six steals, marking the third time this season he has posted at least six steals in a game.
With steals generating three points in FanDuel NBA tournament play, perimeter defense is at a premium and no player has been more successful at forcing turnovers than Oladipo.

The 2.2 steals per game Oladipo is averaging ranks as the highest average in the NBA this season and his 122 total steals are just seven away from matching the highest total of his five-year career.
Only three players are averaging over 2.0 steals per game this year: Oladipo, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George and Milwaukee Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe.
Defensive statistics are among the most unpredictable in fantasy basketball, but Oladipo has established himself as one of the most reliable statistical producers, registering at least one steal in 52 of his 56 appearances this year.
Oladipo solidified his lofty salary valuation in FanDuel NBA lineups by submitting 40 games with at least 20 points this season and is one of just 14 players averaging at least 20 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game this year.
Hhis presence on the perimeter is unmatched, making him an excellent centerpiece for any FanDuel NBA lineup.
