DraftKings: 3 NBA daily fantasy sleepers for March 2
Montrezl Harrell ($4,700)
Montrezl Harrell is another player who is getting an unusually high amount of minutes due to injury. The seemingly always injured Danilo Gallinari is out tonight against the New York Knicks, meaning Harrell should get the start. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing for the newly constructed Los Angeles Clippers. Harrell brings a ferociousness and energy on the floor that seems to help the Clippers in a number of intangible ways.
Since Gallinari’s injury, Harrel has seen an increase in minutes over the past three games. In those games he’s gotte: 32.5, 25.5 and 23.75 fantasy points. His increased role has increased his DraftKings value by $400 in just a couple of days.
On top of all of that, the Clippers are playing the New York Knicks, who have no reason to win and are without their unicorn Kristaps Porzingis. Harrell should have an easier time scoring down low and his high energy should give the recovering Knicks problems.
