After numerous speculation surrounding the franchise this past offseason, the Houston Rockets currently stand atop of the Western Conference with a 47-12 record, boasting a league-best 13-game winning streak. Here are the three major takeaways from February.

Despite coming into the regular season with countless questions surrounding how their star-studded backcourt and new pieces would fit alongside each other, the Houston Rockets have managed to live up to the hype in February.

By playing arguably their finest stretch of basketball  this season and crushing countless adversaries in the process, the Rockets became must-see television in the early part of the season. They have not displayed any signs of slowing down towards the final homestretch of the 2017-18 campaign.

The franchise that currently boasts the best record in basketball is wrapping up a month for the ages — posting an 11-0 record in February, all while putting together their second 13-game winning streak of the season. Houston recently became only the eighth team since the merger to put together multiple 13-game winning streaks in a single season after defeating the Utah Jazz on Monday.

With that being said, here are the three major takeaways from the Rockets’ marvelous month.
