With the All-Star break over, the Utah Jazz are back in action to finish out the 2017-18 NBA regular season. Here are three things on Utah’s wish list for the home stretch of the year.

Now that the All-Star break is over, NBA teams are officially in the home stretch of the 2017-18 regular season. As the schedule nears an end, teams will continue to fight their way into playoff contention and jockey for better positioning as postseason play inches closer.

Such holds true for the Utah Jazz. The rest of the year — mainly the next few weeks — will be an incredibly important stretch for the Jazz.

Utah, which is one of the NBA’s hottest teams over the last month or so, is trying to make a late push into the playoffs, making its way into the suddenly interesting and close Western Conference playoff race.

The Jazz enter Monday’s slate of games around the league at 31-29 overall and in 10th place in the Western standings. They are basically fighting with seven other teams to try and grab the last six playoff seeds behind the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors.

As the final stretch of the year takes off, let’s take a look at three items that should be on Utah’s wish list with the regular season coming to a close.
