Rationale:

  • Stephen Curry was one pick away from falling to the New York Knicks on draft night. Instead, the Golden State Warriors tabbed him with the seventh overall pick in 2009 and Curry has routinely torched the Knicks. During his 15 career appearances against New York, the two-time MVP has averaged 24.9 points, 5.9 assists, 5.7 rebounds and connected 70 times from 3-point range at a 51.1 percent clip. Curry under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden is a perfect recipe for success for FanDuel NBA lineups.
  • The Minnesota Timberwolves managed to win their first game since Jimmy Butler suffered a knee injury behind an exceptional effort from point guard Jeff Teague.
