1. Kyle Korver might be useless

This one hurts to say, but the aging veteran’s viability appears to be dwindling. Over the past five games, Korver has made seven field goals. All of them have been 3-pointers.

Even though he drilled two deep balls late Sunday, Korver missed a pair of crucial corner 3s when the game was in question. He’s battling Hood, Green and upstart Cedi Osman for minutes and he’s a liability on the defensive end. Maybe he’s no longer worth what he adds offensively.

When Kevin Love returns, someone will fall out of the rotation. Right now, it’s likely between Cedi Osman and Kyle Korver. Over the past five games, here’s how their numbers compare:

  • Korver: 4.8 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 1.0 APG, 31.8 FG%
  • Osman: 7.0 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 0.6 APG, 40.6 FG%

Korver is more valuable with LeBron on floor, but without a shot creator, the former All-Star is nearly useless. He can’t create is own look nor can he defend an average offensive player.
