The exceptional passing of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has elevated him into elite status at the position in FanDuel NBA tournament play.

Anytime a modern day NBA player puts up eerily similar statistical lines to Wilt Chamberlain, a roster spot in FanDuel NBA lineups needs to be carved out.

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic continued his unbelievable February run by torching the San Antonio Spurs for 28 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, his third consecutive triple-double.

The 6’10” center out of Serbia joined Chamberlain as the only players 6’10” or taller to submit three consecutive triple-doubles in league history.

The triple-double run puts an impressive cap on an exceptional February run for Jokic, as he is averaging 22.4 points on 57.3 percent shooting from the field to go along with 11.6 rebounds, 9.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 16 made 3-pointers in eight games this month.

More importantly for FanDuel NBA rosters, Jokic has scored over 35 fantasy points in each game this month.

The best month of the season for Jokic has propelled him to season averages of 17.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 6.0 assists — the most among all players at the center position — and 1.1 steals per game. All figures are the highest of Jokic’s career.

Jokic ranks 14th in the league with 25 double-doubles and his three straight triple-doubles moved him into a tie with Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons with six this season. If Jokic manages to dish out 12 assists against the Houston Rockets Sunday night, he will boost his averages for the month to a triple-double level.

Among the keys to success in FanDuel NBA tournament play is properly identifying players on a hot steak, and the statistics Jokic has piled up this month are impossible to ignore.
