With just over 20 games remaining in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2017-18 regular season, these are the three biggest games to look forward to.

The Los Angeles Lakers have played every team, besides the Miami Heat, at this point in the 2017-18 NBA regular season. With the Lakers playing virtually everybody in the association, there a few matchups that would present fans with a contest they haven’t seen before.

But that does not mean there are no intriguing games to be played to close out the season. The Lakers still have games against the two best teams in the NBA, the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors, and play 14 games against teams currently in the playoff position.

There are matchups against some of the best players in the league such as Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans.

Yet none of the aforementioned teams and players are featured in the three games I’m looking forward to seeing. Before I dive into the three I’m anticipating most, I’ll briefly explain my reason for omitting these previous names.

For starters, we’ve already watched the Lakers play the Warriors and Rockets multiple times. Yes, these games have entertained, but we’ve seen these matchups play out plenty of times.

Giannis and AD are two of the top players in the league, and are in situations where putting up insane numbers can’t overcome their current circumstances. They’re two League Pass favorites when they are playing, but nobody on the Lakers can stop them, or presents a difficult challenge in stopping them.

Here are three games to look forward to, beginning with the King coming to Staples Center in March.
