Rationale:

  • The precise shooting that carried Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker to the 3-point Shootout championship in Los Angeles at NBA All-Star weekend didn’t exactly carry over in his first game. Facing the L.A. Clippers, Booker made just 2-of-9 attempts from 3-point range, but still managed to submit 27 points, as he routinely forced the defense into fouling him. If Booker manages to find his shooting touch Saturday night, he could be in line for a huge night in Fan Duel NBA tournament play.
  • In his 15 games with the Chicago Bulls, Zach LaVine has been the steadiest offensive performer. LaVine is pouring in a team-high 17.3 points per game and has been an extremely effective shooter on the perimeter, knocking down 40.3 percent of his 3-point attempts, the best percentage of his career.
