Rationale:

  • The Portland Trail Blazers have handed point guard Damian Lillard one of the steadiest supplies of minutes in the NBA this season. Each night Lillard spends 36.5 minutes on the floor, typing him with Anthony Davis and Paul George for the sixth-most in the NBA. Lillard has capitalized on his time on the floor by shooting 44.6 percent from the field, the best percentage of his career, to prop up the 26.1 points per game he is averaging, marking the third consecutive season he is averaging over 25 points a night.
  • The third 30-point outing of the year from Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic wasn’t enough to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans Friday night. Dragic even flirted with his first triple-double since April 2011, as he totaled nine rebounds and eight assists, enough for 54.8 FanDuel NBA fantasy points on the night. In his lone meeting against the Memphis Grizzlies this year, Dragic posted 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting to go along with five rebounds and five assists.
