4. Cristiano Felicio looking to turn things around

A few years ago, Cristiano Felicio was an unknown on the Bulls’ 2015 Summer League roster. However, he found a way to become an integral part of the rotation.

On the heels of a 2016-17 campaign in which he averaged 4.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest, the Bulls decided he was a player that was worth investing in for the next few seasons, signing him to a four-year deal worth $32 million.

Based on the numbers, however, the Bulls may be experiencing a bit of buyer’s remorse, and to say Felicio has regressed somewhat would be a mild understatement.

Not only has he accumulated nearly as many DNP-CDs (26) as he has games played (32), but his numbers have dipped pretty much across the board with the exception of shooting percentage. With that being said, both sides are hoping that Felicio will be able to turn things around in an extended role, thus proving he was worth the lucrative contact the Bulls gave him during the offseason.
