Rationale:

  • With Kawhi Leonard expected to miss the remainder of the year for the San Antonio Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge elevates to the best FanDuel NBA option on their roster. During the three games before the All-Star break, Aldridge averaged 24.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.0 blocks. A sore right knee forced Aldridge to miss San Antonio’s last two games, but he is expected to be available Friday against the Denver Nuggets.
  • The production from Miami Heat rookie Bam Adebayo has been inconsistent, but his high ceiling makes him an intriguing FanDuel NBA roster option. Adebayo has collected 10 or more rebounds on seven occasions and has rejected two or more shots nine times. If Adebayo can submit another performance similar to the 16 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks he collected against the Toronto Raptors, he could become one of the best value plays in FanDuel NBA leagues.
