Top 4 Point Guards

  1. Chris Paul ($8,900) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
  2. Elfrid Payton ($7,500) vs. L.A. Clippers
  3. Goran Dragic ($6,700) vs. New Orleans Pelicans
  4. Andrew Harrison ($5,500) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Rationale:

  • The first three games for Elfrid Payton with the Phoenix Suns have been simply remarkable. After being shipped out by the Orlando Magic in exchange for a second round draft selection, Payton has posted 20.3 points on 57.1 percent shooting from the field to go along with 8.7 assists and 8.3 rebounds per game. While he is off to a magnificent start, Payton will have 23 games to prove himself as the ideal backcourt parter with Devin Booker before becoming a restricted free agent this summer.
  • In his second season, Andrew Harrison has established himself as a viable shooter in the perimeter, connecting on 35.7 percent of his attempts from 3-point range, an increase of 8.1 percent from a year ago. To close out the first half of the season for the Memphis Grizzlies, Harrison set a new career-high by knocking down all five of his shots from 3-point range against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
