There hasn’t been a single NBA game since last Thursday, with the league taking its annual All-Star break to give everyone some much-needed time off.
Despite the spectacle of a pleasantly competitive 2018 NBA All-Star Game, there were a few games that took place since our last edition of NBA Power Rankings, not to mention the events of the weekend and projections for the rest of the season to go over.
Bearing all this in mind, Week 19 of NBA Power Rankings will feature a look at the most notable events for each team over the least week, from actual game results to All-Star festivities. Then, we’ll take a quick look at what each team’s focus should be for the remaining 20-plus games of the season.
Are the Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors going to be able to hold onto their leads at the top of their respective conferences? Are the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers ready to get things back on track? And how does the playoff picture and tank race in each conference shake out?
