With 23 games left in the 2017-18 season, here are the five biggest reasons for Phoenix Suns fans to keep tuning in.

The Phoenix Suns are currently 14 games out of a playoff spot in the West, which means this once proud organization is heading for its eighth straight season of missing the postseason, extending a franchise-record playoff drought.

Currently riding a seven-game losing streak, the Suns’ only bright spots over the last few weeks have been: Devin Booker‘s return right before the All-Star break, Josh Jackson‘s encouraging play since the start of 2018, Devin Booker winning the 3-Point Contest and Devin Booker in general. It’s been nearly five years since the Suns last fielded a winning team, and even with all the encouraging signs of a youth movement mixed in, watching this team play can often feel like the NBA viewer’s equivalent of doing the Lord’s work.
