Luka Doncic – Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic is a rare prospect that should fit well on just about every team. The Dallas Mavericks might be his best fit for a few reasons. First and foremost, he’ll play for one of the NBA’s smartest coaches in Rick Carlisle. He’s tremendous with X’s and O’s, pushes his guys and has coached the likes of Chauncey Billups and Jason Kidd. Carlisle understands elite players and ball-handlers.

Doncic would also be joining Dennis Smith Jr., alleviating the need to be a full-time point guard. This would allow Smith Jr. to develop and thrive as more of a scorer with a second ball handler on the court. With a ton of cap space, talented rookie and an elite coach, this might be Doncic’s best bet.
