Wendell Carter Jr. – New York Knicks

Kristaps Porzingis doesn’t seem keen on ever playing center. After shipping away Willy Hernangomez and deploying Enes Kanter, the Knicks could be in business for a new center. Wendell Carter has probably the lowest ceiling of all the top bigs, but he can really do it all. With an underrated face-up game, good shooting mechanics and great passing, he’s an ideal center to play with Porzingis.

Carter would allow the Knicks to get better on the interior and let Porzingis thrive outside. With his shooting promise, the two could be interchangeable like two rare queens on a chess board. Right now, the Knicks are looking at drafting between eighth and 11th. Carter should be in that range. Porzingis and Frank Ntilikina is an exciting core for Carter to join and fit well with.
