5. Continue sharing the basketball

While the Atlanta Hawks have struggled on both ends of the court, ranking 22nd in offensive rating and 25th in defensive rating, the team has found plenty of success creating scoring opportunities.

Atlanta is dishing out 23.8 assists a game, the sixth-highest total in the league. The Hawks are converting 38.2 field goals per game, with 62.6 percent of those baskets being set up by an assist.

The lofty assist total is even more impressive considering point guard Dennis Schroder is averaging 6.3 assists per game, only the 13th-highest total in the NBA.

The ball rarely sticks in a single set of hands for long, as the Hawks rank second in the league in passes per game, moving the ball an average of 335.3 times per game.

For a team that is converting 45 percent of its attempts from the field, the 23rd-highest total in the league, easy scoring opportunities are rare.

The ball movement the team employs is the best aspect of the Hawks.
