Only 23 games remain for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2017-18 NBA season, so here are five items to watch for following All-Star weekend.

The Atlanta Hawks were anticipating a rebuilding year for the 2017-18 campaign and at the All-Star break, the team is tied with the Phoenix Suns for the worst record in the NBA.

Their 18-41 record has Atlanta joining the Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Brooklyn Nets as the only teams in the league to lose 40 or more times this season.

The Hawks have lost four of their last five games and close out the year with 11 games on the road, including six consecutive from mid to late March, and 12 games at Philips Arena.

Atlanta could be in danger of winning fewer than 30 games for just the 14th time in the 69-year history of the franchise. However, if the team manages to post the lowest win total of the year, the Hawks could have the best odds at the 2018 NBA Draft.

With the All-Star break providing the team with a much-needed, extended resting opportunity, here are five storylines for the remainder of the year.
