With the 2018 NBA Trade Deadline over and done with, here are our grades for the moves made by the Utah Jazz prior to Thursday’s deadline.

What a crazy trade deadline day Thursday was around the entire NBA.

The 2018 NBA Trade Deadline, which contained 10 trades involving 17 teams and a total of 24 players within a matter of about four hours, was highlighted by the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ roster rebuild, which sent waves throughout the entire league.

Along with many pieces shuffling around the NBA as the time ran out to make a trade, the Utah Jazz were among a handful of other teams that were active at the deadline. Utah didn’t make moves to the extent of what Cleveland did, but the Jazz did make a few moves nonetheless.

The moves included shipping away the likes of wings Rodney Hood and Joe Johnson, while acquiring forward Jae Crowder and point guard Derrick Rose from the Cavaliers in a three-team trade that also included the Sacramento Kings.

The Hood and Johnson trades were somewhat unsurprising moves for the Jazz, as both players were in many trade rumors leading up to Thursday’s deadline.

In what was an eventful deadline day, let’s take a closer look into the moves and grade the deal Utah ended up making at the trade deadline.
