The Chicago Bulls have dropped each of their last seven games. Here are a few observations from their recent losing streak.

To say the Chicago Bulls are having an up-and-down season would be a mild understatement. After overcoming a training camp altercation between Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic (who is now a member of the New Orleans Pelicans), the Bulls produced just three wins through their first 23 games.

What followed next was something that few people expected – a seven-game winning streak that helped the team reach a level of respectability, to a certain extent. The Bulls’ season took another interesting turn when the team opted to send Mirotic and a second round draft pick to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Omer Asik, Tony Allen, Jameer Nelson and a lightly-protected first round pick in this year’s NBA Draft.

In the midst of parting ways with their leading scorer, as well as all of the rumors about which players may be moved prior to the upcoming trade deadline, the Bulls have returned to early season form and once again find themselves in the midst of another long losing streak — seven straight, to be exact.

While a seven-game skid is nothing to be proud of from a player standpoint, the news isn’t all bad. So without further ado, here are a few notable observations that have coincided with the Bulls’ recent losing streak.
