As the 2017-18 NBA trade deadline quickly approaches, here are five predictions for the Utah Jazz heading into Thursday’s deadline.

Trade deadline week in the NBA is finally here.

In what has been somewhat of an uneventful trade market leading up to the 3 p.m. (ET) deadline on Feb. 8, with perhaps the exception of the surprising deal that sent Blake Griffin to Detroit, many believe things will soon start to heat up as we are now a day away from the 2018 NBA Trade Deadline.

And as many have reported and predicted, the Utah Jazz will likely be in the middle of a lot of rumors and activity in the next 24 hours.

The Jazz, who enter Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a record of 25-28 overall and as winners of six in a row, have struggled in trying to make up ground in the Western Conference playoff race. Entering Wednesday, Utah remains three games back of the New Orleans Pelicans for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.

The current situation in Salt Lake City is another reason why the Jazz should — and likely have — turned into sellers heading into the trade deadline.

Prior to Thursday’s deadline, here are some predictions as to what we think will happen with five Jazz players who have found themselves in trade rumors.
