The Washington Wizards are off to a fast start in the month of February. Here we take a look at some must-win scenarios for them this month.

The Washington Wizards are currently without All-Star point guard John Wall, but don’t tell them that. Since Wall has been sidelined with a knee injury, the Wizards have won three straight games. They showed tons of resolve in a comeback 122-119 victory against the Toronto Raptors Thursday night.

Washington won the game on an all-around team effort. Each starter scored in double figures and the bench unit finished with 44 points. The team finished the game with a season-high 30 assists as well.

The Washington Wizards used a big second half to overcome a deficit late, showing that there may still be some fight in this team despite John Wall’s injury. They are currently 29-22, tied for fourth in the East with the Miami Heat, and climbing.

Last month, the Wizards went 2-1 in their must-win scenarios, but they’ve still got work to do. They went 2-3 on their recent five-game road trip that left many fans scratching their heads. The injury to Wall seems to have taken the pressure off some of the roster in the process and it’s shown in the recent results.

It’s been a solid month so far for the Washington Wizards and they hope to continue that going forward. Here’s a look at three must-win games on the schedule for February.
