Derrick Favors ($5,600)

You’d think that getting Rudy Gobert back from injury would hurt Derrick Favors’ statistics, but it’s done the exact opposite. Since Favors has been moved from the starting lineup, he’s averaged 12.2 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. At this point in his career, Favors might be someone who benefits from playing with the bench unit.

Favors’ last five fantasy performances have been: 39, 28.25, 33.5, 21.5 and 33.5 points. He’s doing all of this in less than 30 minutes per game too! It’s clear the Jazz have given him the keys to the bench unit for scoring and he’s holding on for dear life. On top of all of that, they’re playing the Phoenix Suns, who have the second worst defensive rating in the league.

The Suns are also without rebound machine Greg Monroe since their buyout agreement, so that should leave Favors in prime position to get all of his usual rebounds and more.
