5. Stay away from the All-Star festivities
The 2018 NBA All-Star game will take place in Los Angeles in February, and the Magic would be wise to stay home for a number of reasons. The prolonged break around the weekend means the players, and also just as importantly management, can get a chance to spend time with family.
What this will enable them to do is come back for the remainder of the season as fresh as possible, and be more prepared for the final act of a disappointing campaign.
Going to All-Star Weekend would also bring the mood down too. Witnessing former Magic guard Victor Oladipo play in the game for the first time won’t be much fun either.
