2018 NBA Draft big board: End of January
By Max Holm
30. Bruce Brown Jr. – Miami
Bruce Brown Jr. falls from No. 13 on the November big board to all the way down to No. 30. He’s taken steps back as a shooter and scorer, which are the biggest reasons why. Shooting 27 percent from 3 and 61 percent from the free throw line is really worrying. Still, it’s hard to see him not ending up in the first round.
As one of the best defenders in college basketball, NBA teams can look for him to guard either backcourt spot. This season he’s continued to improve as an already strong rebounder and shows high level passing. If a team wants to invest in his shot, he’s worth drafting in the first round.
