13. Kevin Knox – Kentucky

Fresh off the best game of his college career, it’s easier to buy the upside of Kevin Knox. On the road against a tough West Virginia squad, Kentucky’s freshman balled out for 34 points and seven rebounds. Along the way, he hit five of eight 3s and seven of eight free throws. Knox’s form has always looked better than his numbers showed. Now he’s sitting at over 35 percent from 3. If you’re buying his shot, you’re probably high on Knox.

At 6’9″, Knox is an athletic combo forward that NBA coaches would love in theory. Though likely better off at the 4, Knox has the potential to stretch the floor, put the ball on the floor and switch on defense. Against West Virginia he showed just how deadly he can be in transition with his athleticism. This could be the game that pushes him further into lottery consideration.
