2018 NBA Draft big board: End of January

20. Anfernee Simons – IMG Academy
Anfernee Simons will remain the most interesting player in this draft pool until he chooses the NBA or college. As covered in this piece, Simons is eligible for the 2018 NBA Draft because he’s in a post-graduate year at IMG Academy. He has an interesting decision to make before June’s draft.
Scouts nationwide have followed him to national tournaments to get as much intel as possible. So far he’s played well and offers a ton of upside. In fact, Simons might easily possess the highest upside of any player outside the lottery. An ultra athletic combo guard standing at 6’4″ with a solid wingspan, Simons is already deadly with his jumper. He’ll need to smooth out his passing, defense and strength, but he should be a first round pick if he declares.
