The Oklahoma City Thunder are surging, but a key injury could derail their playoff aspirations. Where do they wind up in Week 16 of NBA Power Rankings?
Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: The NBA was absolutely bonkers over the last week.
It’s been a complete roller coaster over the last seven days. On the bright side, the Oklahoma City Thunder are on an eight-game tear, Jabari Parker is set to return for the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday and the never-ending news cycle continually regales NBA fans with juicy gossip, Twitter wars and thoroughly entertaining pettiness.
On the other hand, not everything from the last week was good news. DeMarcus Cousins’ brutal injury will end his (and the New Orleans Pelicans’) season, losing Andre Roberson is a critical blow to OKC’s defense and Blake Griffin is no longer the face of the Los Angeles Clippers thanks to a stunning trade.
The question is, where do all these injuries and emerging trades leave the NBA landscape? In order to sort it all out, it’s time for some Week 16 NBA Power Rankings.
