Andrew Wiggins was the player many Minnesota Timberwolves fan were most worried about after the Jimmy Butler acquisition. Even with his much improved play as of late, it is time for Wiggins to change.

This is not your standard “Andrew Wiggins has serious bust potential, blah, blah, blah” post. Despite having mixed feelings about Wiggins’ play (and who doesn’t these days?) I generally think he is a solid player.

His immense talent is what makes myself — and so many writers — so upset when he does not live up to the expectations that come with being a former No. 1 overall draft pick. But now the Minnesota Timberwolves are winning, a lot.

As one member of Minnesota Timberwolves Reddit pointed out, almost every positive accomplishment this year is followed by “……for the first time since the 2003-04 season,” which is the last time this franchise reached the playoffs.

My point is, with the team currently enjoying so much success, there isn’t a crazy amount for Wiggins to change. But a few subtle tweaks to what Wiggins has (hopefully) already been focusing on could be the key to the second half of the season for Minnesota.
