DraftKings: 3 NBA daily fantasy sleepers for Jan. 26
Troy Daniels ($3,700)
Troy Daniels is the sleepiest of sleepers you could probably get for Friday. Sitting at a very modest $3,700, he’s almost worth the gamble just because of his price. At the same time, there are some really great reasons to take a chance on such a cheap player.
Firstly, Daniels clearly has the go-ahead from the team to shoot as many 3s as he wants. Three out of his last four games, he’s shot 10 or more 3-pointers. In his last two games he’s shot 50 percent from deep and 100 percent of his shots were from beyond the arc. The dude strictly shoots 3s and when he does, he shoots them at a high percentage.
The best part about picking Daniels is he’s going against the New York Knicks, another team that was mentioned earlier as playing terrible defense, especially against guards. The Knicks are playing back-to-back away games and just came from a game in Denver where they allowed 28 3-point attempts and let 14 of them go in. The Knicks showed a disgraceful ability to close out shooters, giving Daniels a chance to blow up tonight.

There’s a chance Daniels doesn’t impact the game as intensely as some would hope, but there’s also a chance he way outperforms his price, and at such a low price tag, he’s worth the risk.
