1. David Fizdale

The frontrunner for head coaching jobs all around the NBA would — and should — surround David Fizdale. Fizdale is one of the more attractive candidates looking for work, most recently being fired by the Memphis Grizzlies earlier in the season.

Fizdale spent a little over a season and a half with the Grizzlies, recording a record of 50-51 (.495 win percentage), while reaching the playoffs in his lone opportunity in 2016-17.

But even before finally getting a head coaching job in the NBA, Fizdale was viewed as a for sure future head coach in the league.

After spending one season with the Golden State Warriors and four seasons with the Atlanta Hawks as an assistant coach, Fizdale became an assistant — and eventually an associate head coach — for the Miami Heat, spending eight seasons in South Beach.

During his time in Miami, Fizdale quickly created a strong reputation in the coaching community, eventually earning a head coaching job in 2016. With the Heat, Fizdale helped head coach Erik Spoelstra and Miami to seven playoff appearances and two NBA titles.

One thing that might make Milwaukee interested in Fizdale is his strong reputation, not only among coaches, but among players throughout the NBA. Another thing could be Fizdale’s experience in already having dealt with an NBA superstar in LeBron James and how to get the most out of Bucks superstar in Antetokounmpo.

David Fizdale is bound to get another head coaching job in the league sooner rather than later. Maybe the Bucks are the team to take another shot on him.
