Another option that the Bucks could consider to replace Kidd as head coach of the team could be David Blatt.

Blatt most recently spent time as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers for a year and a half, before he was fired midway through the 2015-16 season and replaced by current Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue.

In his time in Cleveland, Blatt led the Cavaliers to a record of 83-40 in 123 games, including a 14-6 playoff record and an appearance in the 2015 NBA Finals. Blatt also earned Eastern Conference Coach of the Month honors twice during his tenure in Cleveland.

Blatt told The Jerusalem Post during last NBA season that he would like to make a return to the NBA, saying “I have an end game and that end game is that I would really like to go back to the NBA.”

Blatt could be a solid addition to an up-and-coming Bucks team led by MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo.

One thing that could be appealing to the Milwaukee organization is the fact that Blatt, who has spent most of his playing and coaching career overseas, could help shape the team and system to reflect something similar to an overseas style of basketball, which could possibly in return help Antetokounmpo take even a bigger step in leading the organization.

Could Blatt make his return to the NBA to take over for Kidd with the Bucks? It’s safe to say he would be more than on board.
