The Oklahoma City Thunder crushed the Cleveland Cavaliers this weekend. Here are four takeaways from the Thunder victory.

The Oklahoma City Thunder played in the first ABC Showcase game of the season. The Thunder traveled to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in what was expected to be an exciting game. The only people who found the game exciting were Thunder fans.

The Thunder wound up destroying the Cavaliers, blowing out Cleveland 148-124 as they were unstoppable on the offensive end of the court. While the Cavaliers are in a free fall as their defense struggles mightily, the Thunder are once again looking to be on track.

With the victory over the Cavaliers, the Thunder have now won four games in a row. The last two have been in convincing fashion, as they also blew out the Los Angeles Lakers prior to defeating the Cavaliers.

It was a dominant performance from Oklahoma City. They received excellent contributions from everyone who stepped on the court, as the Cavaliers had no answers for them. The Cavs suffered a big loss when Kevin Love was ruled out after three minutes played because of an illness. However, with how the game turned out, it is debatable whether or not Love would have even helped out much.

The Thunder caught Cleveland at a good time and took full advantage. The Cavaliers are struggling to get acclimated to some new faces and have yet to turn on the switch. That was okay for Oklahoma City, who had some adjustments of their own to make throughout the season.

The Thunder will now return home for two games before heading back out on the road. Before we get to covering those games, let’s take an in-depth look at the Thunder’s convincing victory over the Cavaliers. Here are four takeaways for the Thunder from the win over Cleveland.
