On a night where two of the NBA’s best offensive squads were on center stage, the Houston Rockets managed to take down the Golden State Warriors in epic fashion. Here are the three takeaways from Clutch City’s most recent outing.

In a nationally-televised showdown that featured the top two teams in the Western Conference standings, Chris Paul managed to put together arguably his finest performance on the season.

The Houston Rockets point guard posted a near triple-double to help his team power past the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

The 32-year-old point guard poured in a season-high 33 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists to help Houston capture a 116-108 win against the defending champions at the Toyota Center.

James Harden finished with 22 points and eight assists in his second game back from a hamstring injury, and hit the shot that proved to be the dagger for Clutch City late in regulation:

Kevin Durant led Golden State with 26 points on 9-for-17 shooting from the field, while Draymond Green added 21 points in a losing effort.

Here are the three takeaways from the Rockets’ most recent performance.
