FanDuel NBA Daily: Fantasy basketball lineup for January 20
Top 4 Point Guards
- Kemba Walker ($7,800) vs. Miami Heat
- Kyle Lowry ($7,700) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
- T.J. McConnell ($5,100) vs. Milwaukee Bucks
- Rajon Rondo ($4,900) vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Rationale:
- Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is one of the most consistent perimeter shooters in the NBA. In his sixth season with the Raptors, Lowry is knocking down 3.0 shots from 3-point range each game and connecting at a rate of 39 percent, the second-highest average of his career. For the year, Lowry has made 121 shots from 3-point range, the eighth-highest total in the NBA.
- Any FanDuel NBA lineup in need of a point guard candidate with high upside should consider adding New Orleans Pelicans point guard Rajon Rondo. Even though he has totaled just 24 assists in his last five games — one fewer than he dished out in a game against the Nets last month — Rondo is capable of producing lofty fantasy point totals. With six double-doubles and a triple-double this season, the explosiveness of Rondo is a worthwhile gamble any night.
