4. Cleveland Cavaliers

Despite the bigger names on the market currently, there is still a fighting chance that the Cleveland Cavaliers go after Nikola Mirotic. Granted, on paper he is a lot like the space-creating Kevin Love currently featured on their roster. But if the Cavaliers want to have enough to get past the Golden State Warriors come June, they will covet the 3-ball as much as possible.

The Cavaliers openly want to unload Tristan Thompson’s contract, and once again the Bulls possess the salary cap room to make a deal happen. This would provide Chicago with an elite rebounder and rim protector who does not demand the ball in his hands.

At just 26 years old, Tristan Thompson could be a viable center for many years to come.  This would be a good deal for Cleveland because it would provide them with a guy who can produce against elite defenses and help out in the first or second unit.
