The Chicago Bulls’ three-game winning streak came to a halt as they fell to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Here are the main takeaways from this contest.

The last time the Chicago Bulls faced the Golden State Warriors, it was not a pretty sight, to say the least. In fact, the Dubs throttled the Bulls to the tune of 143-94, handing Chicago its third-worst loss in franchise history.

In the previous meeting between the two ball clubs, the Bulls were without the services of Zach LaVine and Nikola Mirotic. Having a full complement of players this time around would certainly improve the Bulls’ chances of knocking off the defending champs, right?

Early on, it seemed that would be the case. On the heels of a first quarter in which they scored 40 points, the Bulls led by a double-digit margin (57-46) in the second quarter before settling for a 66-63 advantage at the break. But then, behind the duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Warriors blitzed the home team in the third quarter, turning a three-point deficit into a 95-78 lead after three quarters.

As has been the case in most of their games this season, the Bulls didn’t stop fighting and they managed to cut the lead to five points with less than three minutes left in the game. When it was all said and done, though, the Warriors came away with a 119-112 victory, their 14th consecutive win on the road.

Here’s a look at the most notable takeaways from this contest.
