The Washington Wizards embark on their final five-game road trip of the season tonight. Here’s what to expect from them as they look to improve in the East.

The Washington Wizards are currently 25-19 with their final five-game road trip of the regular season beginning Thursday night. The Wizards have had an interesting time on the road this season, going 10-10 so far. Winning on the road at this juncture is pertinent for Washington if it hopes to find its way to the top of the East.

Whether it’s been playing down to their competition or losing leads in the fourth quarter, the Wizards are a team that really needs to find consistency on the road with this upcoming trip.

The Wizards went 2-3 on their last five-game road from Dec. 4-12. This time around, their road trip spans across roughly 11 days, from Jan. 17-27. Washington currently has a 3-3 record against the opponents it will face on this current road trip. As they look to increase their hold on the Eastern Conference, it’s pertinent the team walks away with a 5-0 or 4-1 record. Finishing below .500 on this road trip would leave more questions than answers at this stage.

Here’s a look at what should happen on the Wizards’ upcoming road trip.
